ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

PROJECT SUMMARY

 

1. Nitrogen, Hydrogen, oxygen gas generation systems for onshore, offshore projects   (Customers: PETRONAS, Shell, Murphy, Kpoc, LEKAS, TECH-ASIA, PT-RAJAWALI, JEL, BHP-BILLITON, PT-NATARONG, Etc.,)

  

              Brief: Responsible for all Automation control systems for gas generation systems like Nitrogen, Hydrogen and oxygen. Programming with ladder logic, HMI, SCADA for all range of PLC brands as per customers’ requirements.

Nitrogen generation plants base on cryogenic and non-cryogenic process such as PSA & Membrane separation techniques. Each plant is custom built in accordance with customer requirements such as:

Control by redundant PLC controllers with local HMI & Remote SCADA.

ATEX instruments and motors suitable for Zone 1&2 Operations. 

 

 

2. Seat Inspection System for Tata Nano Car    (Customer: TATA JHONSON, Gujarat):

 

         Brief: The inspection system inspects critical points of car seat assembly. It includes four machines, Using this 4 machines seven seat frames are checked.4 -DELTA SA series PLCs are used. These PLCs will communicate with Master SCADA (MOVICON of 300 TAGS). If the readings are within the tolerance limit the assembly gets accepted otherwise rejected.

 

 

3. Batching System for Glass Manufacturing Factory – Meerut (U.P)

          Brief: In this SYSTEM OMRON CJ PLC and Movicon SCADA 64 Tags were used. The system involves load cell, weigh hopper, Mixer, Belt Conveyor systems etc. the four different materials are dumped into four weigh hopper sequentially using coarse and fine feed system. After filling it is dumped into the mixer through belt conveyor. Batch wise data logging, recipe and reporting were done in this project.

 

4. Pre-Weigh and Dump bag filling Machine:

 

          Brief:  In this SYSTEM Allen Bradley Micro Logics 1400 PLC and MOVICON SCADA 100 Tags were used. The system involves, storage hopper, load cell, weigh hopper, bag clamp systems etc. the material is dumped into the bag very accurately using coarse and fine feed system. After filling the bag, it is detached from clamp and again weighed for conformation and then stitching process was done.  

 

5. Automatic Stretch Blow Molding Machine – Shivsu - Chennai:

 

          Brief: In this SYSTEM Omron PLC based control system is used. The blow molding process begins with melting down the plastic and forming it into a parison or pre-form. The parison is a tube-like piece of plastic with a hole in one end in which compressed air can pass through it. The parison is then clamped into a mold and air is pumped into it. The air pressure then pushes the plastic out to match the mold. Once the plastic has cooled and hardened the mold opens up and the part is ejected.

Description   :                            Cam positioners detect angles of rotation by means of absolute encoders in the basic model of OMRON PLC. Grey code conversion instruction is not available in any of the basic model PLC’s. This was developed in PLC CPM – 1A using ladder logic for the implementation of CAM Positioner. This ladder logic was purely designed by me in the industry.

Description   :                            with OMRON PLC CPM2A-60CDR with 64 I/O points includes High Speed Counter using linear Encoder and one CPM1A-MAD11 Analog Module.

 

 

TRAININGS UNDERGONE

 

  • BOSIET Offshore Training- BOSIET course is a minimum requirement to work offshore. The course consists of four modules; Safety Induction, Helicopter Safety and Escape (HUET), Sea Survival and First Aid, Fire Fighting and Self Rescue. 

  • Advanced Soldering Technology – Received certificate of Excellence.

       Four days training conducted by “Centre for Electronics Test Engineering”, Directorate Department of Information Technology, Govt of India. at                    Pondicherry, 2003.                  

  •  5 days training underwent for ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) Standards
